This is an Asian import movie in the romance genre. It is a love story between Seo Ji-Woo (Im Soo-Jung) and Kim Jong-Ok. Throughout the movie the main character can’t see to forgot her first love. This drives the story and pushes the movie along. Finding Mr. Destiny was slow and boring. Usually I am a big fan of love stories but I can’t say the same for this film. There were holes in the plot and the characters were not very deep. I didn’t connect with any of the characters at all. When I see a love story, I need to believe in the love. That just didn’t happen with Finding Mr. Destiny. I felt as if a high school kid with no love experience wrote this. This movie is only playing in a few theaters throughout the country and I doubt anyone is going to see it. In my opinion, this is definitely a movie you can skip out on paying the $12 for.
